Or you could buy a BMW jack kit for the E91. It comes with a scissors jack low enough for the three series, a torque wrench pre-set for the correct torque, gloves, and a wheel stop. The handle for the jack has a ratchet so it's not a biggie to put the jack up and the jack fits within the rubber pads at the jacking points.

I have one for the E92 and it cost me 94.

I just jack mine on the jack points without any need for anything to fit into them? :-\

Overkill though for swapping wheels, I use it for homers.

Thats the same jack I got slighty different colour not overkill as you need a low slung one to get the car up. To save the jacking points just buy a hocket puck for 1 on ebay and cut it to fit into the jacking point. Much cheaper than spending 25 for a adapter

Question is how do you jack the car up in the centre to put the car on stands on both side if you want to remove both wheels lets say?
