Unhappy Rear Pass. Window Help!!

did some searching but still need help. so after letting my sister use my car she returned to tell me that my rear passenger side window doesnt roll up. she exlpained she was driving around with windows rolled down. when she got to the mall the rear passenger one didnt want to go up. she said she was able to pull the window up by hand. when i went to check it out it sounds like the motor is working but that maybe something else doesnt let the window go up. it does go down but it slides down instead of how it normally should. after trying to get the window up i am now stuck with it half way down. im also unable to even pull it up by hand. it stuck. i will be taking it to a window shop or and indy this week and would like some advice on what the problem might be and how much it will cost to fix. thanks

Pretty sure the clips that hold your window broke. Happened on my 2007 and the dealership wants to sell you the whole bracket for over $100. But take off your door panel first to find out what's going on in there.

it sounds like window regulator messing up. I would not try to use it anymore as you may scratch the glass. Take it to dealer/shop. lets hope nothing is dead. good luck

It's the window regulator. The one on the other side will be going out soon so get ready for that.

noooooo!! i hope not. tried to take off the door panel but i think i need some plastic tools. i felt like a flathead screwdriver would scratch the paint pretty bad. i have an 06 330i.

I actually found a great DIY video and my buddy is going to do it. Going to end up spending like $250 for parts and his time. I searched e90 window regulator and a Vimeo video came up. It's really good.

Yep. I just replaced my second window regulator. It sounds like that's your issue here.

On my previous E90 (over 6.5 years) I had to replace 4 window regulators on the right rear.

Sorry. I feel your pain. They definitely aren't as cheap as you expect.
