I thought I read that the Shadowline trim was one of the components that separates the "is" from a base "i" model, however my '11 E93 doesn't have it. Is it included on the E92 models, or am I mis-remembering?

Is it significantly harder to do an aftermarket shadowline wrap on a convertible than on a coupe?

All E93's to my knowledge come with the standard chrome trim. The E93 is not to say "harder" to do, just requires more material and more patience. The piece that goes around the back requires some work to get just right. Other than that it's just the same as working on an E92.

I thought the exact same thing. My buddy has a 2011 black 335is coupe and has the shadowline trim and my convertible has chrome.

Did you end up changing it?

All E93, "i" and "is", comes with chrome trim only.
