Request: programming new comfort access key fob

I purchased my car out of state and it was missing a key when I picked it up. The dealer sent me a new key and can't figure out how to pair the new key. Right now i can only get the the key to work when I plug it into the dash.

Any help will be appreciated.

It needs to be programmed at your dealer.

Not sure about comfort access, but for regular keys, if you stick your current key in the ignition, press start...then quickly remove it and insert the new key, it will program it to your car. When I bought my CPO car the dealer couldn't find the second key, so they ordered one. When it came in, my CA showed me how to program the key myself.

takes about 5 seconds to do.

I'm sure it's the same since you still have the slot in the dash to put it in

No, for comfort access you need to have it programmed by the dealer.

Does anyone know if you can just get a new FOB that would enable the Comfort Access? Or is there more to it? I know it was an option, but I'm really wanting to retro-fit my car w/ the Comfort Access!
