Been around these forums for a while now finally bit the bullet and got a SG e92 328i (pics are on my phone which of course I just realized I left home). Moved to the bay area last year from NYC and just looking to see where and when you guys normally meet up. I'm out in the excelsior area (its a BITCH to find parking after 6:30 jeez).

There's Friday meets in Burlingame. Check the Friday meet thread.

A few of us hangs out at a coffee shop in San Jose every friday too.

If you want to come out there's always a meet at Tanforan every Friday also but if you want to go a little further out you can go to Milpitas at Tapioca Express and San Jose at Hot Spot.

Meets always start around 9:30PM but people start rolling in after that time. I'll be at the Tanforan one this Friday, hoping some others will be coming out too.

I'm still running stock, I just want to see how they look in person before I decide on which AE to go with. Where you guys planning on doing this? public parking lot? haha.

I'll wait for JT's answer.

That's how it looks like in the darkness of my garage and viewed at eye-level.

I'll just get the tools from cookie and I'll ask my friend if I can change out the AE at his place.

I'm at work until 8pm. Tomorrow will probably be best as I'll have to look over the install guide. If it's anything like the MTEC then we should be good :P

Yeah it was easy. I did mine and my friends prelci e90. The second time was easier bc I actually took off the whole wheel lol. The first time I just jacked the car up a little with the wheel turned but I have small hands so it wasn't too bad. It's way easier just taking off the wheel, the bolts from the fender lining, popping that off and than just take off little black plastic cover that has the angel eye bulb. Took me maybe like 30 min all together or so?

Sounds just like the MTEC AE then. I'm assuming the LEDs locks into the slot or do they simple hang? There's two "prong" looking things that disperses the light evenly through the two rings, right? Haha
