Shell V- power problem?

I only use shell v-power and i have crazy pre- ignition (pinging). Mentioned it to the dealer and they said they checked the car out and found nothing and couldn't hear anything. (must be deaf IMO) Its so bad that even under light throttle input (slow acceleration on a level road) its very noticeable. I have just learned to live with it but it really bothers me......anyone else have this problem? Esso, CDN Tire, Husky-Mohawk, Petro can and CO-OP are the only other brands available here, time to try everyone else i guess.

have been using shell v for the last 4 yrs, no issue at all.

You fill up at the same Shell station all the time ? If so, try another Shell station or try another brand to see any differences.

You shouldn't have an issue with factory mapping/boost.

Try Petro Can 94 octane.

Shell V-power is only 91.

Shell V-Power is the best stuff here in the GTA. It's the only fuel without ethanol, and my car runs strongest on it.
