Give me a nice LCI coupe pic, and I'll photoshop these whitelines if you want.

This might be a stupid question, but would it be possible to bake the headlights and remove the red coloring? Is the plastic colored all the way through, or is it a coating on the inside/outside?

the face is solid red plastic.

The only way i can see getting a CLEAR face is to mold them yourself... which this is a project i might well take on once i return from deployment... (only i'm doing it for my E90 first, then maybe do a couple for E92). The copy/mold process doesn't look complicated, its just the uncertainty of baking the lights apart without melting the housing - i haven't quite mastered this yet.

185 degrees in an old electric oven, give it 15 minutes and they pry apart very easily.

it is. I've done several different brands of lights when adding custom halos. MBZ lights need to be a bit hotter, but not much. anything over 215 or 220 will discolor the PC lens, and deform the frame.

prob would never do it myself but it'd be cool to see
here's a photoshopped pic of whitelines on a e93 which has the same taillights as e92. it looks interesting... might need a little time to get use to...
