I believe it's located under the steering column plastics, lower down.

As Mart said. It's near the FRM. If you're looking down at the pedals the FRM is behind the obd (ish), and the cas is left of that, pretty much behind the cubby hole below the light switch.

That make sense?

Guys, do you know what information CAS contains?
And Why are we sharing its location online?
Especially if OP has only few posts?
Does that ring bell?

Sorry OP, you may be an innocent driver but equally a member of gang....and so on.

I sort of see your point but to be honest, it's not hard to find out. A dealer would tell you if you asked them. It's like asking where the door locks are and nobody telling them incase they try and break in to a car!

Plus, if the op is indeed a big hairy car thief, then they're a shit one if they have to ask where the module is!

Let them find it. Why should we/ you explain it to them?

All you have to do us search 'e90 cas' in YouTube and there are videos showing you how to remove it. It's a 2 minute job.

I am looking for the 2011 335d CAS module location.(module that controls comfort access features) Going to swap out with new one to see if it resolves my issues. Any help appreciated.

Is not easy job to swap cas. New cas is possible to order from dealer after car's id check. I can't give You more info about replacing or location.
