Cas unit location

Could any tell me the location of the cas unit on 2005 320d cheers

I believe it's located under the steering column plastics, lower down.

As Mart said. It's near the FRM. If you're looking down at the pedals the FRM is behind the obd (ish), and the cas is left of that, pretty much behind the cubby hole below the light switch.

That make sense?

Guys, do you know what information CAS contains?
And Why are we sharing its location online?
Especially if OP has only few posts?

I sort of see your point but to be honest, it's not hard to find out. A dealer would tell you if you asked them. It's like asking where the door locks are and nobody telling them incase they try and break in to a car!

Plus, if the op is indeed a big hairy car thief, then they're a shit one if they have to ask where the module is!

I'm lookin to no we're cas unit is as my ecu has failed I've got ecu keys + cas unit off damaged car to replace mine with cheers for the help

All you have to do us search 'e90 cas' in YouTube and there are videos showing you how to remove it. It's a 2 minute job.
