McGard SL Ultra Wheel Lock Bolts.

I bought them Paypal from a company in the UK (for less than the $135 shown below), they're not sold in the US.

All of these locks are bullshit and can be twisted off in seconds.

what's to prevent someone with an adjustable pin wrench and a hex-head socket set from pulling these bolts? Nothing that I can see.

Portable drill and an easy-out and these have to come off. Just center drill and twist them out with the easy-out.

Most wheel locks come off in seconds…I think the McGards might take a couple minutes, but either way, your wheel is either going to be stolen or damaged in the attempt. I stopped buying expensive wheels locks several years ago, because the only people that they deter is the real owner when they need access to the wheel. lol.

When they were tested by Auto Express Magazine, a corded drill and many minutes of drilling was required. Are you sure a cordless drill would work?

... In the end, they only managed to get them off after many minutes by using an outlet powered drill ...

That spinning head sounds nice. Dont thieves just carry random key though? The key design on those seems pretty standard.

From the link above..

These German made locking bolt sets use a computer generated key pattern, making every set completely unique.
just be sure to keep a record of the key number in a safe place, in case you need a replacement key.

I can remove any wheel lock with an off size socket pounded on to the bolt. And remember, the companies that make the locks also sell the master sets to remove them that are in many thiefs possesions now.

If it has a spinning ring... how are you going to use a socket?

A 12 point socket just needs to catch/wedge itself onto the face and it will bind. It does not need to get near the spinning ring to loosen it.

And the ring will crush down, no problem.
