The question is: Do radar detectors really work? Especially seeing as most traffic enforcement poeple use laser guns.

Actually they still use radar most if not all of the time around here. It really takes a trained operator to get a good laser reading and you need a rather straight section of road to use it and must be in a direct line of sight (i.e. right in front of you).

Just a little FYI, but the guy that owns/run that hates Mike Valentine and V1. He has never been a support of the V1. Valentine will not supply this guy with demos for testing. He has to pay out of pocket for the V1 unit(s). I think this specific info came out around 8-9 years ago.
