Anyone successfully siphon fuel out of their E90 or E82?

Looking to test E85 content to correctly adjust the fuel scalar in ATR, but I need to siphon a sample out of the tank.

Any other way to pull a fuel sample?

Pull the acoustic cover on the top of the engine, pull one of the HP fuel rail lines, stick a hose over the fuel rail opening (about 1/2" ID) and have it run into a cup, and open the door. Fuel will SHOOT out of the rail for about 5-8 seconds. Have a few rags handy. Let any spilled fuel dry before restarting the engine.
