Noob question about stock and after market blow off valve

Is the after market blow off valve gonna help you turbo and engine a lot or not? With just basic mods like intake, scoops, and cat delete.

Help how? BOV s don't offer any performance gains if that's what you meant. They are really just for the sound.

OEM are DV, not BOV.

With auto trans, you won't really hear the BOV as much as you would with MT

Stick with OEM. Much better ways to spend your mod money.

Yes. Put the money towards a tune. You'll be much happier with 80+HP over a "cool sound".

OP, you could disconnect the DV hoses from the intake manifold to get a BOV sound for free. Just cap the nipple so unfiltered air dousn't come in.

No, you are just routing the bleed air to the atmosphere rather than back into the intake tract. Our cars have MAP sensors right before the throttle body so it won't affect anything in a negative way. Same exact thing as a BOV, just using the stock valves.

Look up BOV DIY of you need instructions, but it's very simple to do.
