Is there another rear lifting point so that I can jack the rear and change both tires at the same time??

If this is the only 'designed' rear lift point, then it is pretty poor engineering by BMW.
The area you're identifying as a "strut" is actually part of the differential. I would not recommend this as a lift point. Why can't you reach the lift point, are there clearance issues, or is the saddle on your jack gigantic..?

Yes, place the jack stands under the jack pads at the locations indicated in the first photo in the OP.

You're welcome. The jack pads can be used in a variety of ways. If you're changing a flat on the side of the road, they are the lift points for the jack (the head of the OEM BMW scissors-type jack should mate up to the jack pad exactly). At the dealership or repair shop, they act as the lift points for the garage (4 point) lift. And as depicted in this thread, they can be used in combination with a floor jack and jack stands.

I just drive onto some regular car ramps (rhino ramps) then just roll the jack on down there, hook the front lift point, then do the rear. Did not know you could lift on that rear crossmember, cause of the holes and all...looks kinda weak, but ok, whatever.

Great write-up...

These front/rear center lift points work great. Those of us with xi cars certainly have an easier time getting the jack under the front.

Does anyone have a pic of the rear strut a few posters back mentioned on his 335d? I'm just curious.

This be it... It's plenty strong enough to lift the rear of the car from (as long as the jack has good purchase on the beam!).

Can someone provide a few pictures of how regular jackstands mate up with the jack pads?

I don't have a close-up, but I blew up one of the pics from above. You should be able to see in the area I have circled that the jack pad rests in the saddle of the jack stand. There's nothing super technical about it, just center it up front to back and side to side.
