If you had the time, money and everything else it would take?

Can be cars, house build...anything

Recently (and this changes month-month) I've been wanting to build an E30 with a V10 M5 engine

Have been looking at this one built by a chap in Austria:

Making me drool, but an engine, box, loom and ECU come in at a nice round £6000 on ebay, a nice 325i sport is also around 4-6k...so your looking at 10-12K just for the parts

Still, 507bhp would be fun in an E30 and it does sound f*cking good.

Next week i'll be onto something else, it's just a phase...I hope

I'd probably try create a BMW supercar...maybe put the 550 bhp M5 engine in the current Z4 or something...

Don't under estimate the costs! There is currently a V10 E46 for sale for £50k. The build in total cost him 80k.

It's an epic car however!!

I've not looked but I'm sure a M5 engine and 'box are far more than 6k??

An E46 S54 go for 3k alone.

I couldn't butcher an E30 like that myself. I'd do it to an E46.

I went through a phase where I wanted to make a replica of this car, i fell in love with it. as soon as i spoke to someone regarding the costs it soon put an end to the dream lol plus id want to put it in an e30 m3 shell only.... theres a video of a black e30 m3 on youtube which has a supercharged m5 engine in it and it absolutely kills everythign it races. If you search e30 m3 v8 vs m3 v10 it will come up. it also races a gt3 and blows it away and a few other cars.

I've wanted a B5 RS4 since the day they were released, love em. But if I could, I think I'd buy one, throw away the 2.7 V6 and drop in a highly tuned Audi 5 pot just for the noise
