I couldn't agree more. Best sensor on the market. Shit keeps working and working regardless of what meth content you use.

Thanks! I spent some time today getting familiar again with my system wiring. Not too bad, but it started out with that original wiring harness that shiv put out with the hand-held remote that you had to push to turn the system on, so I hacked into that to get the switch in the cabin, etc.

Should find some time this weekend to wire things up for a try.

Okay keep me posted. If you have to go the resistor route, just text me on my phone.

Getting a little email help from Jeff Howerton now. On that instruction diagram you can see a little screw that says scale output signal span. You can now just turn that screw to change the span. On the screw + there are a couple marks on part of the + to show which part is pointing to the selection. On the box that is around the screw (its in blue) there are 0-11 tick marks and default is for it to point to tick mark 5 (counting from 0).

Edit - looks like Jeff was right as results from my testing, show that, "Going by Aquamist convention, yes, full CCW (counter clockwise) would be the 2.5v minimum."

You just turn that screw counter clock wise to the first tick mark , and that will be 2.5v. then screw the cover plate back on, no need for resistors.

Damn Scott that's awesome! Well that helps alot for sure without resistors. They made a great flow sensor even better. Awesome

Holly $hit! that is awsome. I just received mine the other day and haven't even looked at it yet since my car is at the body shop getting fixed after my highway fight with a flying screen door Can't wait to hook it up and actually have a functioning failsafe

I'm guessing on the way the marks represent voltage. Jeff sold them so fast he did not get to try it. I hope to have it tested out this weekend.

Got overflow code where I thought was 2.5v. Moved to what Jeff thought would be right (turn adjustment screw all the way counter-clockwise), got overflow again.

Just had a couple minutes last night, will log tomorrow. Could be the labonte unit was leaking for longer than I knew so me meth flow and setting in procede were too low for a while. Will update tomorrow.

Anyone know what an approximate flow setting (injection mode value) would be for a DO14 nozzle?

I'm guessing 16 is way low.

Got a little time this morning. Learned that with the scale output screw turned all the way counter clockwise, that a DO14 nozzle will hit between 38 and 40 (small spikes to 42) for meth flow in the procede log.

That explains the overflow codes when I had the Injection Mode at 16 since 40 >= double that value. I found that with a setting of 26 the car did well. After I shut the netbook down, on the way home, I floored it in 3rd from about 2500 rpm and somehow tripped the overflow at the onset, so I must have somehow caused a spike to 50+ on the flow reading.

** Edit, just saw enrita's post saying overflow is auto at 90 (either double injection mode value or 90), so I might keep the DO14 in there, bump injection mode up to 30 and see if I can avoid overflow conditions in all circumstances and still skip the resistors.

I would change the procede flow value to 33 and then try. If it still triggers an overflow situation, then I would set it on full volts and do the resistors method and call it a day. Don't matter what size nozzle as I am using a M10 and M7 and it doesn't cause a overflow on Procede.

Pretty repeatable results on the flow reading, looks very predictable. This was a slow shift from 2nd to 3rd. Each data log the flow reading looked to have the same curve and values under full throttle.

Its working perfectly with a meth Injection Mode setting of 30 with the DO14 nozzle (with the scale output signal span screw turned all the way counter clockwise). Logs show flow reading consistently hits between 38 and 42 at WOT.

Now all Howerton needs is to get more in stock.

Thats perfect...I would still set the injection value to 33 at least as 30 is way too low...Shiv recommended only a few values but your value is almost 8 off..

Thanks. Set to 35 and I think I'm good. Thanks for the tip on the aquamist flow sensor. So easy to hook up, 1 wire to procede flow input, 1 wire to ground, 1 wire to power, and done! Hope he gets more in stock soon for others to put to use.

One interesting note, I put in a DO 12 and it flowed steadily at 43. Maybe I had a narrow DO14 and a wide D012, not sure.

Great to hear...Not only is it easy to hook up now with the one you have, the best thing is the size of the sensor which You can install almost any where in the engine bay and its works and keep working. Heat doesnt seem to play a factor on this flow sensor, and neither does the meth volume.
