Hey guys, IM trying to get into coding (mainly because i need to replace my fuel injectors) but since its all the same programs I figured i would dive into it. I was able to get a version of INPA and NCSExpert to start this effort. I installed all of the files and once INPA (5.0.6) loads it has no menu. I also downloaded an older version 5.0.2 which does have the menus but its all in german... anyway, getting to my question is the script to make that menu part of the "daten" file updates that i keep hearing about? The files are v47.1 for the E89, but i cant seem to find any other version (earlier) that would work with INPA... Ive been reading these forums and a few others non-stop for 3 days and i cant seem to get any answers
. ANY HELP WOULD BE AWESOME!!!also if there is someone in the PHX area who actually uses this stuff that wouldnt mind giving me a hands on pointer or two that would be awesome too!

Getting the english INPA might take longer and 5.0.2 should be more than enough to code injectors. I think older versions have the English translation but not newer ones. |

I found the newer one by torrents, but like i said, the menu doesnt seem to be populated with options. I may take this file and use the updated daten files i have and see how that goes. Thanks again though.

You might have more luck finding someone with an English translation of INPA in the other forum. |

Thanks guys. The injector coding looks pretty simple and it just uses INPA. Once i get all of that settled i want to start playing around with the coding (during off the chime... that sort of stuff) I wasnt really sure on the relationship between INPA and NCSExpert... it seems there really isnt any for coding other than using INPA to make sure you are talking to the modules... at least thats my limited understanding of how everything works at the moment. Im sure once i get the actual tools and can start playing around i can do more.
Perhaps i take that back... Maybe INPA holds the translation files that allow NCSE to talk to the modules... its some obscure relationship like that.
