Concerning N51 vs N52 exhuast. It's the section after the secondary cats that is different.

After checking on realoem, both engines do have secondary cats. It looks like the muffler & resonator are one part in the N51 (Rear Exhaust PN 18307572671), whereas the N52 they are two seperate parts (Center Muffler PN 18307567138 & Rear Muffler PN 18307566941). Pictures may explain better.

Wrngway has been nice enough to let us know that our exhaust will not fit the n51 without being modified due to a larger diameter of the stock piping.

Potential buyers please note:

It will require some cutting and welding.

Anything over zero is great!

I'm sure you'll get bombarded with questions. Did the car have any supporting mods like an AA tune, intake, etc.?

What about the back pressure? It's a muffler delete after all.

The placement of our drone chamber will create some back pressure. Ill take a picture and show you what i'm talking about.

Gaines were seen throughout the entire rpm band except for redline where it matched that of the stock muffler.

Ill post some official results tomorrow but I believe it was 5-6 whp and 7-8 wtq.

Is there some kind of adapter that can be fashioned by AA before I get my installer in there cutting and welding?

That's sick! A little bonus on top of the sound. Mine finally made its way to the west coast. Should be picking it up today.

We were just talking about this. Anyone know the exact diameter of the n51 piping?

We don't have any n51's in this state.
