Got into an accident :( - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I got rear ended a few weeks ago, took it to BMW. It was the other drivers fault so his insurance is covering the damages. I'm trying to get an after market trunk and bumper. The insurance company stated I can get these parts in oem or aftermarket, so am I able to order aftermarket through BMW? Or should I take it to a body shop?

BMW wont put aftermarket parts on. Just take it to a good body shop

Yeah, take it to a good shop. You can either have them order the parts for you or I've heard of people buying the parts and bringing it to the mechanic.

Being it to Mac if its totally other person fault. They are great shop for insurance claims
