Great write up.

Might want to go into more detail about taking off the headlight housing.

Actually really easy to do. Done 2 cars already. Imo the hardest part was getting the headlights out of the car lol. Everything else is dead stupid easy.. Only differance between me and Sammy is that I used cloths clamps instead of biology books to glue together the new/old angel eyes together lol + covered the new angel eyes with painters tape and painted the old angel eyes in satin black, imo cleaner.

Very nice bro!!! $150 is really cheap!!! I spent a little more but there is no question that couple of hours of work compensates that $600 that you would have to spend getting everything done at OSS or other places plus shipping time and honestly this DIY is so much fun that it's well worth doing it!!

I've been told not to try this with an E90 since removing the headlight housing is entirely different... Any tips on what to do if I want this with an E90? And also the angel rings will still be compatible with an E90, correct?

Oh gosh the difficulty from your DIY to his DIY is like night and day. He just scared me into not doing it haha especially with his conclusion. I had trouble installing my fog lights....

Did an e90 for a friend of mine a couple weeks ago. Used 105 and 115mm. Fit perfect. Sorry I didn't take any close up pics. Now time to open up my LCI e90 and see wht size the ring is around the cornering lamps!
