does anyone have a trailer i can borrow for the weekend to take my car to austin? =]

As last resort check with UHaul. They have the car hitch where u can put 2 wheels up and roll the others. Used one from south Tex to here without any problems.

is it "lowered" car friendly?

I just rented a uhaul trailer to schlep my Miata to Hallett. If your car is lowered, bring some 2x6" boards to help with approach angle.
