Check your rear speakers! - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I have noticed recently that my rear speakers (rear deck lid) just didn't sound right, kind of a buzzy sound. Today i removed the speaker grill from both sides and immediately seen that the rubber surround had detached from the cone! The crappy glue had turned brittle and was no longer holing the cone to the surround, im sure this wasn't helping the sound they were producing...LOL (2006 e90 logic 7 system)

I'm unsure if I am going to try and repair myself or source some replacements.

I know some people in the good that use silicon to repair their subs lol try it out it might work

Also I you're buying new speakers I hope you're going with aftermarket, they might be a little cheaper and sound a whole lot better
