Passenger side (LHS) mirror problem
Hi Folks,
I have an issue with my passenger side mirror where it will not remain nor return to the exact setting that i have set it to. It will either be too high, low, left or right biased. What do you think the problem is? And the associated solution for it? It's really a PITA! |

I had the same problem and the updated the software, which solved it for a week or so, but later it needed a new motor to fully fix the issue.

Tried this out today with the dielectric grease, took all of 10 mins to complete!
I tried placing into reverse with the auto dip feature a few times and it was successful in returning to set position on every attempt. Will keep an eye on it for a couple of weeks to see how it all holds up. |

My mirror would go past it's normal position due to the "folding option", even my key fob would throw it off. After trying all of the above, I just cut the yellow wire going to the motor. No more folding mirror option, but now I don't have to fight that damn thing anymore.
