New 320d owner - lurchy
Hi
Just bought a 320d coupe msport. Ive had it a few days now and it seems to be lurchy when leaving from a standstill and almost impossible to pull away smoothly or when going from 1st to second at any speed. Once up to 3rd it's fine it's just the initial pull off. Not sure if it's my driving or a characteristic of the car. Just feels like it's rocking rather that smoothly pulling away Any advice appreciated |

Is it auto? Have you tried the recently mentioned gearbox reset? http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=751913
Or see this thread if it's manual: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=751258 |

Hi Lobst,
I had the same issue with my 320d manual when I first bought it. There's only 25000 miles on the clock, I didn't think there could be a problem. Took it to my dealership who did find the clutch was worn, it was replaced under warranty. New one seems much better and feels much better to use. I would pop to your local dealership, see what they say. James. |

If when you say lurchy you dont mean juddery, then its just you getting used to the car. What car have you been driving before the BMW?
My GF cant pull away smoothly when she drives it, but fine when I do. Get the clutch delay valve sorted and it should make it better, theres information on other threads about it. |
