I was just reading through the specs of the recently shipping Lime Rock ed of the E92 M3. Has BMW run out of ideas? They offer up a limited edition M3 and and provide some very ordinary options. Is this thing for real? April fools is a little early .... Wow. They have lost their way ... Please tell me I am reading this wrong.

lol no. I mentioned this car when we were at WG. it's just an orange M3. the marketing dept dudes are taking over M. on the upside ... I'll bet we're getting closer and closer to an AWD M3

dude... BMW is known to be really cheap. i mean a base model 328 with no options comes stock with 16s unless you choose to upgrade. they are very very cheap when it comes to wheels. only reason why they put 16s on your mini is probably cos its an S model.

anyone thinking of doing a coolant flush for their BMW?? i just realized that i still have this lying around. i have 2 gallons of OEM coolant - this is how much you need to do a full flush for any e9x car. you will need to mix this with distilled water.

asking $40 for 2 bottles of coolant. this is like half the price of what the local stealership charges for coolant. Part No: 82 14 1 467 704

Actually that's a good point. The standard Mini comes with 15s, and sport pack/JCW has 18s. And some dude put 20s.

lol 20s on a mini... didnt even think that was possible.

and yea, if youre topping up your coolant, just buy whatever from canadian tire... but i was planning to do a full flush of my system just as a precaution. never got around to actually doing it.

friendly reminder to everyone to replace your cabin air filter periodically... this is how the one in the RS looks like. considering that the previous owner used the car mostly on the track with AC and blower off, i am surprised how dirty it is...

i also changed the engine air filter at the same time. this way both me and the engine can breath better

A guy was having problems with intermittent misfiring / stuttering. He brought his car in to the dealer a few times and they couldnt find the problem. After a few weeks with no luck and very bummed out, he decided to bring the car in to his mechanic for a planned race car conversion.

Sure enough a family of mice moved in under the back seats next to the fuel delivery system of the car and they mice started to nibble various wires that shorted out from time to time ... True story. Little fokkers.
