It staggers me that people would pay the price of a decent laptop or home computer for a phone. Perhaps I am turning into my dad!

Just playing devil's advocate for that comment - Most people use their laptop about twice a week and their mobile phone for about 4 hours a day every day - what's the point in wasting your time with a crappy phone all day and have an expensive laptop tucked away in a bag?

If only it was the 32Gb I'd have bought it off you

I'm not sure that "most people" argument stands true. I would have thought most people are online almost every day via a real computer not just a phone.

Obviously working in IT I'm an extreme example but everyone I know browses every day. Albeit some now from iPads etc rather than a full PC but still "more than a phone".

anyway, compleeeetely off topic. iPhones are great. I've a 4S. Can't wait to get my 5 upgrade next month.

iPhones are wank. Just bought my first ever - iPhone5 - and it doesn't work with any of the BMW Office stuff which my old BlackBerry did seemlessly. Expensive load of toss.

I meant the laptop was the second PC.
Eg. I have a desktop PC that I spend 8 hours a day at, a laptop that gets used rarely when I go to the office for example and a phone that I use all the time. But for some reason the laptop is the biggest investment I have made out of the three, if I was spending related to how much I use them, it would be different.
I'm sure many people are similar.....
