Got home around 1630. Heavy rain pretty much from Naples up to Sarasota. Saw more cars spun off the highway than I've ever seen before. What a mess.

Thanks to Andrew and the crew for their professionalism.
The tune feels good, felt less "laggy" at the stretches of highway I opened it up on.

Exhaust sounds great, but has quite a bit of drone around 2K rpm. After that, it quiets right down, and sounds great. I guess I'll have to get used to that.

Like I mentioned on the test drive, I did notice more drone in that 2k range in your 330 than any of the other's I have ridden in.

that seems to be the start of all drone in the n52 exhaust. I switched to a custom set up and still have it after going through 3 different mufflers.

Just an off topic/wish it was on topic/please drop an indirect hint/ type of question. Would a supercharger quiet an exhaust system down?

A supercharger won't quiet an exhaust like a turbo would.

Could the drone be due to back pressure building at low RPMs? The drone becomes a bit less the more you drive it.

My 6MT 330i muffler delete droned horribly for the first maybe 100 miles at 2k then for some reason went away. even after ecu resets and now about 5k miles since it is perfect.

That is great news. Hope mine does the same.

coasting/maintaining speed at 2K RPM, but gradually feeding in the power really brings out the drone. Fades away after 2K.

Time will tell!

I had my exhaust installed today and observed some noticeable drone between 2K - 2.5K. Hopefully it will somewhat lessen down the road.

The gain is also quite observable around 4K. I have an injen intake and AA stage 2 tune installed.

There is no difference. I have an e92 and experienced the drone.

It is not as bad as one would think.

Damn, I've been thinking about getting one of these but I haven't heard one in person yet, so can't pull the trigger just yet. Anyone in Westchester have one and want to drive by my house tonight?

I took my car into the shop today to get this installed and it didn't fit. The pipe on the car was larger than the exhaust. Unfortunately they already cut off the muffler so they will be keeping it over the weekend and trying to widen the exhaust to fit on Monday.
Hope it works because if they widen it, I cant return it, and no one will buy it since it doesn't fit.
My build date is 02/07. Is the exhaust pipe a different size than all the other 328i's?

*edit
Apparently I have an N51 according to RealOEM. I could have sworn I checked and it was N52.
