If money isn't a factor in this comparison, which one would you pick and why?

ETS 5". It will perform just as well as the Dinan (if not better) at a fraction of the cost.
Many ppl are running them and happy with the outcome, myself included.

Plus it replaces the "restrictive" piping and lower CP.

I have an ETS but if you don't mind trimming your bumper support I guess Dinan's may be better due to larger core, less pressure drop and what I really like the aluminum shrouding that prevents air from passing around the core.

Dinan's FMIC is actually a Spearco unit with custom shrouding...nothing wrong with it, but the ETS 5" is a lot easier to install and the connector hardware replaces the more restrictive stock "ribbed" stuff. I went with the ETS 5" and have never looked back. Also, unless you plan on running 600+ HP tune level, a 7" FMIC is overkill - and it requires trimming, no matter which brand you buy. The key is the core design - bar and plate > tube and fin every time.

Often ingored are the following

Volume air increase over stock

Well Everyone is going to tell you that whatever IC they have is the best one. Anyway when i did the research the HELIX FMIC was the best one, and one of the most expensive, but you do get what you pay for.
