exhaust tip question

Do the 335 oem exhaust tips have to be cut off to be removed or are there some hidden rivets that I can't see?

I had to have mine sawn off to replace them with 4" DiMiSa tips - no rivets or any other fasteners were obvious to me or my mechanic.
