Change hub without bearing! - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I need to replace my rear wheel hub since I have a broken bolt. Can I just order the hub or do I need to get the hub+ bearing? Also should I order a new hub nut + hub lock ring along? Thanks guys!

Hello,
just checked the Bentley manual,
you need a new bearing and nut.
The bearing is destroyed when removing (pulling out) the wheel hub,
one half of the inner ring of the bearing stays on the wheel hub and must be removed separately.

The ring should be fine,
but I think you'll get a new nut and ring in the package with the new bearing.

it is recommended the nut get changed every time it is taken off.

as mentioned above it does come with the new bearing

Hey guys quick update, my mechanic drilled out the broken bolts for a hundred bucks. Better than changing out the hub and bearing
