my hood is cracking... is this probably from the heat?
anyone else have this problem?

is it just the clear coat cracking?

This happens to most if not all of them. The clear coat begins to crack. Just get it touched up. Mine is doing this too. All of my friends who have it have cracks too.

Ohh interesting.. I'm gonna bring it to a body shop and hopefully I can just get it recleared. It does only look like its the clear coat not the actual hood... Thanks

that sucks, i would think being vented there would be LESS heat under the hood.

Same here with my 335i.

Has anyone being able to fix this? Reapply clear coat the entire hood?
