Cool weather = happy IAT's

I am dealing with a misfire. Swapped coils and the misfire followed. So I am certain its my coil. Getting the coil on Tuesday, so can't finalize my tuning till then.

hahahaha, you gotta stock up coils like motor oil. i used to stock up 3 and when there's misfire i trace down the problem and replace my coil right away at home. they r pricey but a good piece of mind to stock a few. you know what BMW stands for? Break My Wallet!

Yeah I knew better, but made it this far.

What are your plans for winter? Do you put on winter wheels? Thinking of putting on my stock RFs.

I am thinking of going back to OTS and running S1+ drive 91. Since its my DD and when it starts raining might as well save some MPGs. Not like I can enjoy my ponies on wet roads.

I guess on a nice.weekend I can always put PTF back on.

nah, i rock TE37 all year, hahahaha... we don't see snow or anything here so why not put the wheels to use. and PSS is great for wet anyway, i learned and the stock RE050 RFT in wet is just scary. i won't run those anymore in my life. as far as the map, i'll just run the PTF, if i worry it will be too much power for winter/rain, then i'll just keep an eye on my right foot. if not, i'll just do a little countersteer around the corner to ensure im still on a straight line

this car is made to be driven... so rain or shine, i'll beat the shit out of it.

Yeah, I'll see how it goes. Having to ensure E50 at each fill up isn't so bad, but if I am not really using the gains, might as well run 91 on a OTS MAP. I'll have to do some $$ and MPGs comparisons on E50 @ $3.80 vs 91 @ $5.00.

For my DD, I calculated 18mpgs with a few WOTs. Not to bad.

new addition to the garage. traded-in our other gas monster V8 Toyota suv and picked up an e70 x5 xdrive30i for wife as her DD. 2009 CPO with only 21000 miles, rear climate control package, technology package, navigation, premium package, sport package, SGM on nappa black leather with anthracite black upholstery with dark bamboo trim. can't complain anything at all! it is the best combo besides AW exterior which is our other color if no SGM.

hell it even comes in 19s! so definitely no need for new wheels, maybe just some 15mm spacers soon, hhahahahahaha

FML fellows, my CCC unit is dead, everything works fine including the navi, only thing it doesn't do is to eject the damn DVD out so i can update a new map disc.
