Lastly,

Correct me if I'm wrong...
So, the 335xi has 2 cats. 335i has 1.*

I have catless dp. So, if I remove the one on the pipes, it should sound just like the 335i with catless dp.*

So you have catless dp and getting rid of secondary cats tomorrow? Can you let me know if it makes a difference?

Yes it will sound just like the I, it will also smell a little more, and I think you'll prolly save a couple lbs as well.

The standard 335i exhaust has no secondary cats. The XI exhaust is different if it has secondary cats.

That is incorrect!

Xi models have secundary cats... (E92 N55)

N55 XI has cats in the downpipes and secondary cats. That makes 4. It is one piece from the DPs to the exhaust tips, and it is a tank.

I have a 2012 E92 stock one standing up on the garage if anyone wants a smoking deal on it.
