Any n55 muffler delete videos? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I just got my BMW PE in... Just wondering if anyone did the muffler delete on the n55. Curious... I heard mixed reviews.

If you love drone, it is the right way

It will not bring you that much sound and it is just annoying!

I don't know if these guys are N54 or N55! They have decatted and done muffler delete!

You will notice that it is not nicer to hear as your PE!

It's just loud! Nothing more...

I love my catless DP's and that is as loud as I ever want my car to sound. I do have a bit of drone effect but I am used to it by now.

First off those videos are N54 335i's. The N55 335i mufler delete sounds much better!

I have had a muffler delete on my N55 for about a year now. I can honestly say after a month I got used to the drone. I personally think it also sounds great. I never made a video of it, but there is this.

My car is at 2:04 the car after mine is an N54 with a muffler delete as well and you can tell the difference in sound quality.

It is loud, but that's what I wanted.

That didn't sound bad compared to the n54 ones. Interesting.

And, to clear the confusion, I have installed my PE yet.

I don't really like it on a 335, it's too loud. it sounds way better on 328/330's. just my opinion...

Hi,

Did you just remove all the fibre inside the mufflers or did you also connect full pipes inside the mufflers or both?

There are no mufflers. It is just a straight pipe from the midpipe.

Hey bud, I took it to a muffler shop. They cuz my original muffler out, approximately 2 inches before the muffler. And they put a strait pipe instead of it.
