One other thing to consider - when you do get your lights re-done, try some Lamin-X or XPEL film to cover them with. XPEL is here in the SA area and their stuff is really good - it can be put on painted areas or lights and they do installations at their shop. You can buy the Lamin-X film pre-cut for your lights and you can do the installation yourself. Great for preventing rock damage too.

I'll be there, but not for this event - the Tejas Chapter of BMW CCA is having our annual "Utopia" drive this weekend - both days, and we're meeting on the square prior to taking off on our drive route. Might be crowded on Sunday morning.

I usually do that myself...got all the materials from Griot's Garage and the orbital from Harbor Freight (and no, it's not a Chinese replica). There should be several good detailing shops in the area, but I've just moved here from Round Rock, so I haven't found any yet.

I had my car detailed/tinted at concours auto salon. It was a bit pricey but they do a excellent job...at least with the detail.

IM planning on being there as well with the wife and son. I believe its still at the Panera bread parking lot at blanco and 1604. Anyone confirm? Its been over year since I been.

OK - what time does it start/end? That's actually pretty easy for me to get to from over here just East of Boerne. I can take the back roads (Ammann Road) to Blanco and head south to 1604. I hate the I-10 intersection with 1604 - it's like a Kamikaze cloverleaf!

Hmmm...8-11 sounds more like it. The one in the Austin area in Leander was usually from around 10 to 2, although people would arrive a lot earlier to get their cars staged. They wanted all the BMWs to park together, along with other makes as well - the Fords, Chryslers, GMs, Mercedes, etc.

Also - you don't happen to have any relatives from Connecticut, do you? Because some of my cousins from there have the same last name as you. If you're there on Saturday, look for me in the Graphite 335i Coupe.
