AA Flash VS BMW Powerbox

Hey guys. I want to get a performance mod next. Im definitely not gonna get it anytime soon but if i ever will get one, it would be either the AA Flash or BMW PBX. Which one of these is the "better" tune in your opinion?

I know I got into this in the other post. A few months ago I was wondering the same thing, and the more I read about the PBX, the more I was appalled by the installation method.

I work in aircraft electronics, and the pins that are taped together are designed to be in a housing, with a locking mate on it. I see phantom problems due to shit connections all day long. If you do some more searching, you'll find a lot of "hey I installed a BPX and now my XXX is fucked up" threads.

It steered me away from the PBX, even though I liked the performance for the money.
After saving my dough a little longer I went with the AA tune. I'm happy with it, although the gains are not as great on a 330 as they would be on a 328 or 325.

Just my $0.02

edit: I see you're in South Florida, why not visit AA in Miami and ask the guys? They're pretty accommodating and friendly.

Bms it works just fine. Same methods been used on n54 with little problems. Heat shrink the connections instead of tape if you're that worried, save a few hundred bucks, be able to resell it later and it'll be just fine.

My jb3 pin out ( has way more pin connections) was done the same way and never once had to deal with an issue with it.

Don't let a few nutswingers try to scare you off. Worse case, I think they let you return it if you don't like it still.

I think i might just go with the AA flash. Could I take it back to the dealer for a reflash or is it one time only? Velocity Factory is a authorized flasher and is 5 mins away from my house
