HI Evolve, I have few questions on this topic.

If this is installed on 320d with 163hp engine, with around 50k miles on the clock, what is the safe HP and torque increase without shortening life of transmission, turbo, etc?

How much durability the engine has with this upgrade installed at 50k miles? WIll the car do 150k miles? Car has FBMWSH.

Do you have a product for germany built car, with left hand drive (i.e. non UK). Is the map compatible?

And why is your tool better than say a tuning box?

Is there an offer running or it's GBP 499+shipping?

My mechanic says that out of 5 remapped cars, usually 1 he will get with messed up turbo. Sounds right or this is way too high level of failure?

Is your product better than what Superchips are offering? If yes then in what way exactly? There seems to be 2 reputable names in UK and so I'm trying to figure out which one is best.

The turbo's on these cars can go whether they are tuned or not. FSH means nothing if the car has been driven hard before the oil has got up to operating temperature and the turbo has not been allowed to cool down after runs.

That being said we have tuned a number of 163 BHP engines and have not had any reported failures. These are running plus 40 BHP and plus 60 lb.ft torque.

We won't comment on other products out there.

Yes of course the map is compatible with Euro models - there is no difference in engine.

The price is £535 inc shipping.

And as one of those 163bhp upgrades out there I can say that it is well worth doing

A lot smoother and loads more power when you need it.

Just been reading the US instalation guide - looking at getting one possibly, must be moments away from release!

Is this just a base map, or can various staged upgrades be used?

Im downpiped and soon-to-be dci'd and intercoolered so looking for a map for that level of modification, but also a range of less aggressive map options too. Always happy to be a guinea pig.

Excellent!! On a related note, every-time I go to your website I always get so far, until it says I should visit your n54 or 335i tuning section, but I can't find any link to it.

Okay, so just to be clear - if I bought a map from Evolve and my Powergate unit is "clean", I would still not be able to use it for writing your file to the ECU?

No because we only supply maps with our Evolve units as all our maps are encrypted.
