BMW Performance exhaust on for 2010 E92 N55 335i!

Ok, first off, Thanks Jon@Bmwpartspros.com. Wonderful person to do business with. Particularly on the communication side, I was well informed about the status regarding the orders I placed within several times. Top man, least to say.

Now, let's begin the topic!

All you will be getting out of the box for my dear E92 owners! notice that we don't get the x pipes, as the E92 doesn't have that middle section blocked

The old one, as I was helping at the shop, if is significantly heavier than the performance one. Roughly by 30%-40%. Not to mention the material used on the performance exhaust is noticeably better.

That's where the throaty sound comes from.

Top tips here, keep the connection parts facing inwards, that will avoid lots of steep ramps and curbs if you are lowered.

Almost ready~

Now let's enjoy the noise.

Overall, it provides a very throaty yet pleasant sound. To some degree, it is almost racy ready. Well, you've got plenty of youtube videos to justify my words. In reality, it could only be better~

Yeah, it seems as though most PE that I've seen (including the one on my previous e92), sit low!?!?!? You can fudge the fit a bit to raise it, but still ends up sitting lower than stock. And, the tips seem a bit smaller than I would've liked (easily upgradable though). But there's no denying its racy and throaty note!!

Is it a 2011 335i N55, or a 2010 335i N54?

Interesting where you made the cuts. It probably doesn't matter, but my dealer cut much further back when they installed my PE. Sound is great, congrats.

I had 2 different PE... both sat low on the right side. Thought it was a defect and BMW warrantied it and sent another... still sat low on the right hand side. It was cut by the dealer who has done many of them. I said screw it and went with the dinan exhaust. Sits perfect.

If anyone is looking to get the PE exhaust I just found a dealer on eBay that sold me it for $1099.00 for my 2011 e92 335i shipping $25. Brand new, 100% authentic, cheapest I've seen it go for. Anyone interested I can find his ebay name and send it to you. Just installed mine, sounds awesome with JB4

This is good to know because I just ordered mine. The price is the lowest I have seen, $1124 shipped. They have it listed for E92's but I checked with the seller and it fits both E92 & E93, same part number.

As soon as I get the PE, I will install both. The PPK and PE are the only mods I'm doing until the warranty runs out. Just wanted a little more power and sound, and the price was right for both.

That's the same place I just ordered mine from. I hope it takes about the same time for it to get to Florida. I could have both, PPK & PE, installed by this weekend.

Thanks.

Thank you so much WildBee659.

How do you like it?
I'm thinking original BMW P.Exhaust vs AE Performance system vs AC Schnitzer exhaust. Do you have any information about them? Which is the best one?

Regards,
I just ordered mine yesterday so I can't comment on it yet. I have heard good things about the BMW PE and the price is the lowest I have found in about a month of surfing the web.

As far as the other exhausts, I'm new to modding BMW's and don't know that much about them. The only other mod I'm doing is the BMW Performance Power Kit and only because I found it for $450, retail is $800.
The PPK adds 20hp & 32ft/tq and it doesn't void the warranty.
