It's a horrible feeling. Kerbed one of mine on my 640 getting into and out of the car park at Sheffield hospital car park. Stupid design with very high kerbs. Then did it again going over Marlow bridge with a stupid width restriction. As it is a contract hire car decided to leave them and get the (so far) 2 curbed wheels refurbed shortly before handing back to BMW in 18 months time.

Will be travelling on the shuttle to France next summer and those trains are very hard to drive the car in without damaging the rims. Torn between cancelling that and going by ferry or hoping for the best.

Anyone had experience of BMW smart refurb as I will be handing the car back don't really care about the longevity of a repair just that it looks ok when handed back.

Sorry, yup, duplicate post - was having a bad morning - first the wheel then my iphone was playing silly buggers. On the plus side, I'm on the verge of picking up an 650k order at work, so the company can probably afford to refurb my wheels.
