 Don't settle for a new water pump for your N52; demand a "wasserpumpe" from Germany, by Pierburg. The N52 coolant pump is not belt-driven. Electrically operated, it allows faster engine warm ups and saves horsepower. Problem is, when it quits, your engine overheats--right now. Prevent overheating. If your N52 water pump is making warning sounds, head off trouble. Install a premium Pierburg "wasserpumpe" and avoid the inconvenience and substantial expense of an overheated engine.  Aluminum mounting bolts are one-time-use and should be replaced when installing a new water pump. Pierburg is the manufacture of the factory pump. These are an aftermarket high quality plug and play option for the N52.
