It should fit, but you will likely have to do something with the boot(either remove it or modify it to make it fit your shifter console).

Mechanically they are all interchangeable from the past 30 years or so. But on the 335 you will need to tap into some power there - the closest is the cigarette lighter power right under the console.

There is no internal power source?? I want the illumination so badly but I dont want to give up the power source...

These knobs don't have an internal power source - you'll have to tap into something.

Unfortunately not - but a lot of folks are modifying the attachment ring on the boots to make them fit all sorts of different BMW models..
