Helix | Fall Intercooler Group Buy!

Helix Motorsports presents the Fall 2012 Helix FMIC Group Buy.

This Fall the group buy is better than ever, with much quicker delivery and lower price. If you've been waiting to get a Helix intercooler for the right price, wait no longer.

What makes this FMIC group buy special is the guaranteed quick shipping. In the past, you had to wait up to 10 weeks for your intercooler to ship after the group buy ended. Now, your intercooler ships immediately after the group buy ends.

This is a limited-time offer for the Helix FMIC that will only last for 3 weeks, ending on Friday, November 9th. During these three weeks, you have the opportunity to save over $100, plus you don't have to compromise with extended delivery times for a good price.

To reserve your spot on the group buy list, visit the Helix website and add the "Helix Intercooler Group Buy Deposit" to your cart, or just feel free to call us up and we'll take care of you. If you're joining on-line, include your e90post screen name and the year and month of your car's build date (you can find this on the driver's side door jamb) in the additional comments section on the checkout screen.

The non-refundable deposit is $75 and guarantees you an intercooler for the group buy price of $769 for 4/09 and earlier cars, and $869 for 5/09 and later cars. Your $75 deposit goes toward your payment for the intercooler. Shipping and tax for PA residents will be extra. When the group buy ends, Helix will contact you to confirm your payment method and billing/shipping address.

There are only a limited amount of intercoolers in stock for this group buy, so reserve your spot today!

We'll ship at the end of the GB, on November 9th. We call everyone who has put a deposit down to confirm payment and shipping address, and then process the orders.

Why is there a difference in price in 2009? What changed? Will this fit with active cruise control?

There's more piping and hardware for the later cars. It will fit with active CC cars.

I think me and my friend are in. Will this deal be included for my friend's 2010 135i? If so I'll contact him so we can both be in.

I have a question. Does this FMIC come with inlet and outlet hoses (like ETS)?

Thanks.

Yes the kit provides silicone to connect with the factory charge piping, the silicone eliminates the restrictions in the factory system. If you have an N55 that kit includes an aluminum driver side lower charge pipe!

Bump for a great offer!

I was involved in a previous GB on this forum awhile ago and was impressed by the great and timely communications from Helix. It made the purchasing and shipping experience that much smoother.

iPhone pic of my new Helix is below. I won't apologize for the quality of the pic...it is what it is...

Can't decide which looks better, the badass Helix FMIC behind the grill or the lci MSport bumper and hood conversion kit that I got from SonicTuning...hmmm...or the dumb thumb in the upper left corner of this pic....

OBTW, I got this great license plate bracket from AutoZone for $9 bucks and hung my plate from the grill, so I didn't have to punch any holes in the bumper and that is why the plate hangs a little lower than normal... and the greyhound plate says "RUN for JOY" and not Registered Nurse for Joy...although I have heard stories about some randy nurses....but that's for another thread...LOL

It would be nice if u can post a picture of the differences of N55 / N54 FMIC.
I own an 135i N54 but installed an ER CP with N55 Style:

Which FMIC will i have to choose?!

Shipping through USPS is the cheapest at $230. USPS only provides Global Express Guaranteed Shipping for Melbourne (1-3 business days), but it's about half as much as FedEx other international shipping services.

There's no difference between the FMIC for the N54 or N55. The only difference is in the parts provided. The N54 set comes with a Helix intercooler, 4 clamps, one 90 degree silicone hose and one straight silicone hose. The N55 sets comes with all this plus one additional clamp and an aluminum j-pipe (charge pipe).

If the build date of your BMW is after April '09, you'll want to go with the N55 package, but, seeing that you already have a charge pipe, we may be able to alter your package to include just the extra clamp. If you want to do it that way, let us know.
