Hi all, I'm new to the BMW world and see alot of differences with BMW's even when I think I get a grip on it everything changes.
All this talk abour particulate filters, DPF's, N42 Spec, Swirl things and stuff, how do I know what my car spec is and does it have these things?
I realise that it being a diesel it has Swirl flaps but are they the problematic ones or not?
The DPF is also likely but is it going to cause me problems?
Is my car a N42 or something else?

Lots of questions but the more I read the more confusing it all gets.

Any help would be much appreciated.
