I just traded in my E90 towards an E92. Looking to sell my E90 OEM Roof Rack or trade them for the E92 version.

Dude, they are interchangeable. e90 will fit e92 and vice verse. Just adjust the width.

Dude, they are not adjustable, E90 and E92 use different bars, different part numbers... Have you "adjusted" the OEM bars?

Yep. Bought mine off 2007 e90, adjusted the width of the mounts and fitted perfectly on my e92.

Tip: look inside the bar, there should be screws to loose and adjust the width.

Whatever man, simply trying to help. Again, even that they have different p/ns, they should be interchangeable, as I was able to do that. Unless, BMW changed the design somewhere in the middle...

Anyway, at least worth looking into this. Post a pic of your base rack, so I can compare your design with mine.

I appreciate the help, I'll grab them out of my shed and snap a pic a little later on. Mine actually has a sticker on the underside that says E87 E90.

lol it's the same damn thing. it's only different part #'s so they can track how many of each they sell probably. for what it's worth - i took my buddies e92 ones and installed them on my e90 just monday. you just adjust the width like ppl have said...

they are not the same, there are differences other than "just" the part number. I won't disagree that they can be put on but that does't make them the "same", I can wear shoes half a size too large and lace them up tight then tell everyone they are the same as the smaller size shoes and just as good but I prefer not to.
