still stuck on wheel offsets!

Hi folks. I need help clearing this up once and for all!

Brought the missus an E64 6series and need winter wheels as tyres are too expensive for her 19s.

Offset on her wheels is 14front and 18rear.

If i were to get a set with an offset of 35 would they fit? how would they sit? too far in the arch or too far out?

Any advice would be great!

Thanks!

Wheels with an offset of ET 35 would sit too far into the arch, probably too far,as they'll hit the suspension strut.

So with offsets of ET35 you'll need spacers,to push the wheel out, and get down to ET14 front, and ET18 on the rear.

Front spacers required 20mm= ET15
Rear spacers required 15mm= ET20

Danny,

If its 18" dia you are thinking of for the E64 winter set, then you might want to consider E60 5 series alloys. Most of OEM 8" wide square [same fr and rear] are 20mm offset.

Lots of different styles to choose from on ebay.
