My Alpine White/Coral Red e92, Just Powder Coated Wheels. - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I picked up my Alpine White/Coral Red interior e92 335i about 2 months ago, I couldn't be any happier with it. Installed a JB+ about 3 weeks ago and wow.. what a difference. I know i'll be ready to upgrade in a couple months.

Its on H&R Sport springs for now, but will be on coilovers pretty soon. I bought it with the Avante Guarde M359's on the car. The fronts are 19x9 +35 and the rears are 19x10 +38. They were a pretty faded black, so 2 weeks ago I decided to powder coat them. I chose red because it goes great with the coral red interior. I couldn't be any happier with the way they came out.

Picture on the tow-truck was taken monday

. Car went to BMW because it had 6th cylinder misfire's. They called today saying it was the injector and coil, and also was leaking oil from under the filter housing.(thank god for the extended warranty

).

Only pictures I've got a chance to take are from my iphone so far, but I will update the thread with better ones soon.

Thanks! I need to get the window trim vinyl wrapped or painted. I hate the chrome, it looks way out of place. Just waiting to get the car back from BMW now

I might do this since it looks soo good on yours... I was gonna do Estoril Blue for my wheels and mirror caps rofl.

Yea the wheels turned out better than I thought they would. It fits perfect with the interior. I've never been a fan of the color matched mirrors though.

and did you bring it in with the jb+/if not they couldn't relate to it whatsoever? that is awesome that extended warranty still works...

I'm not sure what the actual color is called. I just went down to the powdercoater and asked him to show me the brightest red he had, and he brang out a bolt that was powdercoated with the color. It was a really easy process haha.

And about the jb+, I pulled it out just to avoid any headaches. It's literally like a 2 minute job.

And for the extended warranty, yea thank god. They also found an oil leak from around the oil pan, so they're fixing that too. I know dropping the oil pan has to be a pretty rough job, so the cost is probably crazy.

Crazy thing is, it's actually a Ford extended premium warranty. It also has a full maintenance plan as well. My dad's best friend is the finance manager at a ford dealer, and he called saying he just got the car as a trade in. I went down and bought it that same night. It was 100% luck that it happened to show up at his dealer, because I couldn't of imagined a more perfect 335i. It has the Coral Red interior, 6MT, and it's fully loaded except for the ski package. If I could imagine the perfect 335i for me, that's what it would have, and it's pure luck that I found it at my dad's best friends dealership. From what I've seen the 6MT with the Alpine White and Coral Red is pretty rare. I couldn't be happier with it

wow! sounds like a row of awesome luck haha.

I just recently got the procede and bms dci + vanguard cat back from the past. Curious to see if an extend warranty would even do anything for me still (since i still have the option to purchase it).

anyway, yeah even just white with black interior + 6mt is fairly rare. I was lucky to have found my car, also do not have the heated package but meh.

car looks great with that red
