Replacement of 5-watt Running Light?

Trivial question: How do you get to the small 5-watt running light that is located just "outboard" of the inner 55-watt headlamp on a non-xenon-equipped 2006 325xi? I cannot find the answer in the driver's manual or even in the Bentley manual. I don't see any access from the back where you can access the 55-watt headlamp bulbs. Do you need to remove the entire headlight assembly in order to get to these?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If you're talking about that little bulb that is housed within the lamp reflector, it can be removed by a quarter turn to the left.

Yes. Do you get to it from the back?
