ROOF SPOILER settle down.. - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hey guys just installed carbon roof spoiler last night from friend's garage.

we cleaned the spots and put 3m tape all the way on roof spoiler and pressed down for a while and shot with hit gun to give more pressure but sill it stood up little bit in the morning from the bottom i guess its too cold to install these days with 3m tapes....

but however i had to goto work with 50 min drive.. and during the work time decided to put on 2 boxes of water and 2 boxes of papers there until i get off.

would it be fine if i put them all night?? just wondering..

I have a post here somewhere. I left pressure on for 24 hrs or more and repeated it one more time. Your doing fine!

I did this similar thing to my buddies e90 on his spoiler and people gave us looks everywhere we went.

it stood up if it doesnt have any pressure so i just wanted to make sure.. especially kinda cold where im at

i am not going to drive the car like that lol 2 boxes of water and 2 boxes with full papers?? lol just sitting there until i get off from work and planning to do samething when i get home.
