Get an older Porsche like I did. That way you can have both. My 88 911 gives me that raw feeling I sometimes need. Definitely not near as quick with only 250 at the crank. But, can get a good one for about 20 to 25k which is the difference between the 335 and Cayman.

I've often thought about getting an older Porsche, but have always been scared away with reliability horror stories, and cost to repair/replace broken parts.

This guy doesn't like the way the car drive. i felt 335i is not aggressive also it's just normal 3series coupe with big engine not race car. so why don't u just trade it in for the E92 M3 if u still need practicality or get 997turbo or the gt2 with 500 rwd horsepower that's comming soon.> in my case i'm waiting for the e92 m3.

I understand about horror stories. But once the few problematic areas are corrected (i.e. updated clutch specifically), the car is very reliable. I have had mine for 10 years and the car has been great.

My 0.02c - I have both although my P-car is slightly higher end than a Cayman - the 335Pro 6MT imo is the ideal daily compliment to my 997TT. The 997 is a much more complex car to drive around daily - it can become a pain with the hills in downtown Seattle. And, with all that power at the rear, it takes full concentration to harness at full acceleration.
The 335 on the other hand feels much more manageable and tossable to me...
So, I would install the Procede, perhaps a short shifter and enjoy the 335...

No, I have lighter M-sport 193s. I have a techie brother that is a prof in materials engineering that could fashion some 12 lb. ceramic wheels for me, but I would feel bad breaking them.

My cousin was looking to get a 335 and get a procede etc. We recently test drove the Cayman and Cayman S and we both fell in love, the cars are amazing, they just feel under powered.

Shiv when will more info be available on your procede for the Cayman S? Im sure my cousin is 100% interested in one.

I've heard about ceramic wheels... seems like they might not like extremes of hot and cold... hate to have one snap.

A proceded-V2 335 would rape a Cayman S, whatever mods she has inside!!

Two tuning options for the Cayman that add significant power. Neither is cheap:

Really more like brain and heart surgery rather than tuning, but you get the idea.

lol Neil is considerably more tame on that board than on vmax. He told us about that project at the last Panoz open track day about a month ago. Will be interesting when they get done.
