Red Line formulates fully-synthetic oils and chemically-advanced additives using the world's finest base stocks. Rather than cutting costs by blending in petroleum products, Red Line's motor oils and gear oils use superior ester base stocks that provide extreme stability at high temperatures and superior film strength at lower viscosities where more power can be produced.

Red Line Synthetic Gear Oil: Red Line Synthetic Gear Oil is designed to provide the highest degree of protection and greatest efficiency for your drivetrain. Red Line provides a complete line of drivetrain lubricants which are optimized for differential, transmission, or transaxle use over a wide range of temperatures. Proper selection depends upon the manufacturers' requirements and whether the application is for passenger automotive, commercial, or racing use. Red Line Gear Oils contain polyol ester basestocks to provide excellent lubrication even under extreme conditions of high-loading and high- temperatures--their natural lubricity provide excellent slipperiness which reduces the sliding friction in hypoid gears to reduce wear and temperatures. The synthetic basestocks have a natural multigrade property, so large amounts of unstable thickeners are not required to manufacture our gear oils, which means that Red Line Gear Oils will provide a stable viscosity for even extended periods of use. Red Line also manufactures gear oils which can be used in limited-slip differentials without the use of additional friction modifiers.

Red Line Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluids: Red Line Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluids are designed to provide excellent low-temperature shiftability and improved thermal stability. The products identified as Synthetic ATF, D6 ATF, D4 ATF, and C+ ATF have better thermal stability and lower volatility characteristics than a petroleum ATF and provides a much lower viscosity at lower temperatures, providing much quicker shifting in cold weather. The balanced frictional characteristics provides smooth and consistent shifts for extended drain intervals. The superior stability compared to petroleum ATFs allows high-temperature operation without varnishing valves and clutches which leads to transmission failure.

Red Line Power Steering Fluid: Red Line Power Steering Fluid provides much improved wear protection, resists thermal breakdown, evaporation and foaming at high temperatures. Also, provides continued high pump output. Suitable for most power steering units.

Red Line Power Steering Fluid satisfies the requirements of most power steering units, while providing 50% greater operating viscosity, 1/5 the evaporation of petroleum power steering fluids, much better low temperature steering, and greatly improved wear protection. Red Line Power Steering Fluid satisfies the service fill requirements of most auto manufacturers. Red Line Power Steering Fluid can be used where the manufacturer calls for any automatic transmission fluid such as Dexron, Dexron II-D, II-E, or Dexron III, Ford Type-F, Mercon, or M2C138-CJ such as required by Ford, AMC, Toyota, Nissan, Lexus, Infiniti, Jaguar, VW, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, SAAB, Subaru, Volvo, Porsche, Mitsubishi, Mazda, and many others. This fluid also satisfies power steering units requiring GM Part Number 1050017 or 1052884(Spec Number 9985010) and Chrysler Spec Number 5931, and Ford Spec Number M2C33-F.

Redline Limited Slip Differential Friction Modifier

Compatible with petroluem or synthetic gear oils, this product will significantly reduce the friction break-in of differentials, reducing break-in temps for as much as 50 degrees F. Limited slip or positraction units will often chatter without use of this product or a gear oil with a similar modifier, so add only enough to eliminate the chatter and avoid making the plates or clutches too slippery.
