Is AA BOV worth it??

Should I buy a AA bov. I have a Automatic w? step. Would i really be able to hear the BOV since im not driving a manual car and taking my foot of the gas?

Occasionally you would. But BOVs belong on Civics, not BMWs.

+1 it just doesnt seem right when next to a bimmer and you hear the thing... throws it off that its a bmw

VTA BOV's don't really do anything except adding the sound (unless you have an aftermarket turbo and is boosting more and the stock BOV is not holding boost efficiently). It gets annoying after a while because you would hear it everytime you let off the gas.

No, they belong on Supras and MR2s. Civics aren't typically turbo.

just because a BOV is on a bmw does not make it on a different category ie civics or whatever...

I think that if you have procede, xede, black box or anything else that raises the boost that its worth it... The last thing you want is for those pos stock rubber diaphram valves to start leaking boost.. Then all that extra boost your pushing would be worthless blow-by... Not many of you guys would know it either since there are only a few of us who have a boost gauge.

I will let you guys in on a secret that I want to do to my 335i sedan. Iwant to get a BOV and tape a duck call to it. That would be intimidating as hell and funny as hell. VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.....QUAAAAAAAAAAAAACK.
